Cacophony
Loud. Noise. Obnoxious Toys.
Flashing lights, noise till night.
How do the employees stand it?
Just crazy enough to confound everything.
An indoor arcade. High tech escapades.
A place for kids. A place that's alive.
A quiet escape? Not in this lifetime.
I must be getting old. Once it was a mecca,
Now, tis simply another distraction.
And, most amazingly, I wonder how I spent
almost a year of weekends here.
Planning and writing a business plan
checking my laptop, verifying the plans.
I' guess I've had my lifetime's fill
For Chuck-E-Cheese's pandemonium.
